We are an independent Baptist church located in Devine, Texas, and while we may be a small church, our heart is as big as Texas.  We love people, and we would love to have you come visit our family. 

 

At Community Baptist, we have a two-fold goal.  First, we want to be known by our love (John 13:35).  We desire to accomplish this by:

• Loving God with all our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Luke 10:27)

• Loving God's Word, the Holy Bible (Psalm 119:97)

• Loving the family of God (1 John 4:20-21)

• Loving the unsaved (Matthew 19:19)
  ​

Second, we want to reach the unsaved with the gospel. (Mark 16:15).   "Gospel"  means "good news" — and the good news is that God came down to earth in the form of a human and died on a cruel cross in order to save us from the penalty of sin (to learn more about God's free gift of salvation, please check out our FAQ page).  We want to share this good news with the lost — both in our surrounding communities and around the world!
